Abby Ellin For five years, Abby Ellin wrote the "Preludes" column, about young people and money, in the Sunday Money and Business section of the New York Times. She also regularly writes the "Vows" column in the New York Times Sunday Styles section, as well as feature assignments for the New York Times Magazine. Her work has appeared in a range of publications, including Time, the Village Voice, Marie Claire, More, Self, Glamour, the Boston Phoenix, and Spy (RIP). Rene Stephens Renée Stephens is a successful speaker, consultant and coach. Her practice has been focused exclusively on healing weight related issues since 2000. Renée works with individuals and groups to heal the underlying causes of weight related issues such as weight loss, compulsive overeating, binge eating, food obsession, negative body image and low self esteem. Her focus is on creating lasting behavior change, and helping her clients find peace with their relationship to their bodies and to food. Through her extensive understanding of the nature of human motivation, Renée makes unraveling the complex factors that cause us to overeat seem simple. Renée is a Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Life Coach, Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Certified Destination Method® Coach. She also holds a BA degree from the University of Virginia (with Distinction), and an MBA from the London Business School. Prior to founding Mind for Body, she had a successful career in International Business and Marketing, working for companies such as IBM and Sun Microsystems. She speaks fluent Spanish, conversational French and Portuguese.
