How to Rescue That Dog That is Thousands of Miles Away

What if the puppy being saved is a stray befriended and loved by a soldier fighting the war in Afghanistan? What is involved in bringing this dog home? And what happens when you fall in love with a shelter dog about to be euthanized that is halfway across the country from you and you just can't get there? Today Susan's guests are Christine Sullivan, the author of Saving Cinnamon: The Amazing True Story of a Missing Military Puppy and the Desperate Mission to Bring her Home. Christine, will relate what it takes to rescue a dog found on a military base.
