What Friendship Means at the Country's Largest and Most Notable Animal Sanctuary
Do you know what happened to the abused dogs that were rescued from the football player, Michael Vick or where many of the lost pets from Hurricanes Gustav and Katrina went? They were saved by the "Best Friends Animal Sanctuary" in Southern Utah, the only organization in our country that can mount major rescue efforts due their extensive rescue and sanctuary experience. We'll hear the inside stories about the animals that get a second chance from my guest, Faith Maloney, Director of Animal Care and from Makayla, an eight year old girl who traveled from Illinois to Utah just to be able to volunteer a few days of her time.
