David Taylor Dr. David Taylor is a veterinarian, Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and Fellow of the Zoological Society of London. He has worked with the full spectrum of animal life from Gorillas to Komodo Dragons, Killer Whales to Giant Pandas and, of course dogs and cats. A cat fanatic, he shares his bedroom with five magnificent Birman Cats. In 1969 he founded the International Zoo Veterinary Group which continues to consult on cases of animal sickness across the world. He is a Founding Member of the U.S. based International Association for Aquatic Animal Medicine. David has written 107 books so far including seven volumes of autobiography, many guides to the care of domestic species and books on wild animals. He is a regular on British radio and Television and the BBC made two prime time drama series based on his autobiographies. Married with two daughters and three granddaughters, he lives near London. |
