What Cat Lovers Know!

Do you think you own your cat? Don't be silly. Cats own their people. They're in charge, which is why they don't obey us. That's what Susan's guest, Molly Brandenburg , a feline aficionado, artist and comedian says. Being an expert in "meow-speak" who has spent years analyzing our furry friends, she will share hilarious insights on how cats think and why they do the wacky things they do from her book, Everyday Cat Excuses: Why I Can't Do What You Want . Join us as we spend a lighthearted hour sharing stories about cats and how they affect and inspire our lives and no matter what trouble they may get in, they always make us laugh.

Molly Brandenburg Writer/illustrator/animal lover Molly Brandenburg has had her work published in the alternative press as well as national publications and major corporate media. Also a comedy performer, Ms. Brandenburg is known to cabaret audiences for her acclaimed one-woman show, The Peggy Judy Comeback Tour. Everyday Cat Excuses was inspired by her weight-challenged tuxedo cat, Frankie, and by the memory of two other unforgettable black and white felines, Boots and Seymour. Ms. Brandenburg (who is also a dog lover!) is currently at work on her second book of cat cartoons.
